Dear Mother
I have now staying with Mrs Hookham and have already spent about five days of my three weeks sick leave. I am getting tired of London though ? and have been thinking seriously and in fact have made up my mind to go over to Ireland and have a look at the Irish Aunts over there. It would be a good chance to do a little more of England and Ireland this trouble time? I am not very financial at a loss my valise and had to spend 15 to get another one out to come here in and it was as made a big hole in my cheque
